hi all ,

havin fished the lough a fair bit recently, i noticed a young lad fishing it alot , red haired chap, he has been up and down to me and others , asking about various rigs and bait types , his interest amazes me? , and he has caught quite a few good fish recently, his patience and his handling of fish and the respect he has for them is great, and very incouraging to see , he does visit this site from time to time, i didn't catch his name but look out for this guy a budding carp angler in the making?

Yea great to see the kids out there, I would like to thank the lads for helping out and showing the youngsters new things . I know it has got my 14 year old a lot more interested in carping.

ck my mate was fishin the lough during the week and blanked. up beside him come a little red lad and caught within ten minutes,he said he never met a young lad so into his fishing,i think its great to see this.there is a pic in the lough gallery is this the lad your talkin bout??????????
